Obituary

Dorothy Hamm, age 86, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 10, 2021. She was born on October 1st, 1935 in Kansas City, Ks to Glenn and Marie Blecher. On Valentine’s Day in 1953 she married the love of her life and best friend, Reginald Hamm Jr. Dorothy and Reginald were blessed with 4 children. They moved from Kansas City, Ks to a small mining town Silverbell, Az, where she raised her family. Dorothy was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Dorothy was active in the Catholic Church. She took much pride in being a catechist and lector for many years. Dorothy was a woman of many passions including cooking, knitting, and Catholicism. She had beautiful twinkling blue eyes and a great sense of humor. She cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

Preceded in death by her parents Glenn and Marie Blecher, siblings Glenn Blecher, James Blecher, Bernice (Loren) Scheidt, Patricia (Gene) Rethemeyer, Husband Reginald Hamm Jr, and Daughter Dian (Ray) Dickson. She is survived by her children Richard (Dana) Hamm, Glenn (Karen) Hamm and Regina (George) McGrew, 7 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. And many more loving family members and friends.
