Kathleen Ann Grace (62) is finally at peace after her long battle with Pulmonary Hypertension. She passed away at 03:43 on September 11th, 2022, with Steven, her husband of 42years, holding her hand. Along with her husband, Kathy is survived by her three daughters, Stephanie, Jennifer, and Jessica, and their families, to include a son-in-law, six granddaughters, and one grandson.
When she wasn’t taking care of her family, Kathy could be found taking care of her patients, as she worked in the medical field for over 35 years. For the 13 years of her career prior to getting sick, Kathy worked as an RN, specializing in cardiac care. She was a kind and compassionate nurse who was loved by both her patients and her co-workers alike.
Once Kathy was diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension, she became an active member in the local PH community, helping to organize the first annual Desert Divas and Dudes Walk for PH.
In lieu of flowers her family requests that a donation be made in Kathy’s name to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association, at phassociation.org.
