Born in the outskirts of the Andes, geologist and safety inspector, Luis, has gone home to “castle” his final moves and play with God’s heavenly soccer loving angels!
True to his word, my gregarious dad proudly precedes his beloved wife, Carolina, of sixty-four years of marriage, children, Jorge, Carlos (& Elsa, Chris), Martha (& her dearly departed Jerry & sons, Spencer with Beth & daughter, Samantha and Scott & Kathy, with sons, Michael, Austin & Jeramiah), Pat (& Jim with grandsons Luke & Sean), and Anne (& Tony with grandsons, Clifford & Jesse (& Cassidy with great grandchildren, Brody & Paige).
As the orphaned son of Gregorio & Grimanesa Ludeña, and predeceased sister, Luz, he now leaves his light footprint on this earth with the promise to take up his wings to now watch over his growing brood of heirs from a spiritual gaze.
In lieu of flowers which shortly dry out, please consider either donating to Interfaith Community Services organization, whose staff always had caring volunteers (Allen, Jim, Pat, Maureen, and others) regularly delivering meals and checking in on dad in his last few years of independent living, or, supporting his love of the wild lands he dearly cared about, by donating to either: NRDC, Nature Conservancy, Environmental Defense Fund, Union of Concerned Scientists, American Rivers, Trust for Public Lands, and/or Friends of the Earth.
