Margaret M. Ward

Margaret M. Ward 75, of Tucson, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2015 surrounded by family. Margaret was the Matriarch of our large family. Over the years she enjoyed hosting many holiday get togethers which included not only her children but her siblings and their families as well. She found joy in taking care of family and friends, reading, playing cribbage, camping, fishing and watching bull riding. Margaret was a stay at home mom who also sold Avon for many years in the Marana area. Later she volunteered with the Marana Food Share Program. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Hoyt. Her daughters, Patricia (Mark) Donahue, Carol (George) Robertson, Sheryl (Edward) Vergara; and her son, Steven (Sharon) Ward. Her grandchildren, Brian (Melissa), Nicholas (Robin), Shaun (Heather), Daniel (Jessica), Kimberly, Kristen (Charles), Steven (Becky), and Edward. Her great-grandchildren, Trei, Madalynn, Chase, Milla, Hayleigh, Brooklyn, Alaney, Declan, Madison and Kinsley. Siblings, Roger (Cathy), Delores, Harriet, Cathy, Dean (Jeri), David (Ana) and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents, Vernon and Marcella, her granddaughter, Renee, her siblings, Gene, Robert, Joan Mary and Gloria. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her. At Margaret’s request, no services will be held.
