Obituary

Born in Tucson, Arizona on August 27, 1961, Michael “Eddie” Suarez has earned his wings on January 17, 2021 after a month-long fight with covid. He is preceded in death by his father Armando Suarez and is survived by his true love and soul-mate, wife Maria, son Reyes, stepdaughter Lisa, grandchildren Kaeden and Hailey, mother Vicky, brother Armando, sisters Yolanda and Cris, many nephews, nieces and cousins.

A hardworking man he was always willing to help anyone, especially his daughter with daddy projects. Michael aka “My love” to his wife Maria had such a beautiful loving relationship. They met on a blind date that turned into a wonderful marriage. Being a true Pittsburgh Steelers fan they loved to watch them play. Being a Tucson native they also loved to watch their other favorite team, the U of A Wildcats. Michael was so proud of his son Reyes. He was not only a wonderful husband, friend, brother, father, he was the best grandpa!

Michael loved to grill, cook and most of all spend time with his family. Michael loved music, dancing, and making sure everyone was having a good time. His favorite store was Costco, everyone would call him the Costco man. Anyone who would meet this big teddy bear would instantly fall in love with him. His smile was contagious, and you knew he would always be there for you. He will surely be missed but never forgotten!

Due to covid we will have a small personal group for mass. His family is planning a celebration of his life when it’s safe to have a large gathering.

Pageants brought your family and mine together and the love you and Maria have for The Steelers that's what makes us family. We all enjoyed seeing pictures of your Steelers display and seeing you taking your Fireball Shots. My parents welcomed you to heaven with open arms. Praying for your all. The Harlanders

Sis, Reyes and family, words can’t express the love I have for Michael and my Sis Maria. I was so honored to meet Michael on one of our dance outing and my Sis asked me if it was okay to kiss Michael, I told her to let him kiss her but not to let him go crazy, it was so cute to see the love they shared almost instantly. They truly found a soulmate love in each other. I was especially honored to have them get married at my house. We had the best time ever. I know he will be greatly missed but being the great man he was, I’m sure he’ll be watching over “his love” and I’ll lookout for him to send us messages. I know that I will see his infectious smile again someday. Michael, you were a great man, awesome dad, most wonderful husband and endearing friend to so many. May you rest in paradise Michael. Sis, I love you and I’m here for you.❤️

My love, Michael Eddie Suarez today 1.31.2021 is our 12th anniversary. 12 years ago we vowed to love each other until death do us part. Well I vow to you my love that I will continue to love you even though you're not here anymore. We had a perfect love one that most people never get to experience. Even after all these years together I still got butterflies in my stomach just thinking of you. You always made me smile and feel loved. I love that we always held hands wherever we were. My heart is broken my love without you here next to me but just thinking of you brings a smile to my face. I love you to the moon and back. And until we meet again.
