Obituary

Ruth A. Keller, age 66 took her place to sing with the Lord’s band of angels on Sunday, November 17, 2021. She was born June 18, 1955, to Daniel and Martha Kaufman in Mt Gilead, Ohio.

Aside from her parents she is preceded in death by one brother David Kaufman and her friend and companion horse Rascal.

She is survived by her loving husband Greg Schmidt, sons Danny (Jennifer), Adam (Jessica Hansen) Keller. Three grandchildren, Ava, Ace, and Jackson Keller. Siblings, Julia (Charles) Harris, Betty (Keith) Stephens, Phil (Donna) Kaufman, Annette (James) Miller, and Tim Kaufman. Ruthie is survived by many other extended family members and close friends.

Aside from her grandkids, the lights of her life, Ruthie enjoyed the outdoors, camping and hiking. Her love of horses was apparent in her everyday life. She retired from her nursing career in 2017. She was a member of the Sandario Baptist Church Choir and Praise Team.

A Celebration of Life for Ruthie will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at 2:00 PM at the Sandario Baptist Church, 6971 N Sandario Rd, Tucson, AZ 85741.
