Andrew Rudd Hesse passed away on November 4, 2024, at the age of 46. Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, Andrew graduated from the University of Arizona School of Architecture and went on to build a distinguished career as an architect, leaving behind a legacy of creative and meaningful designs.
Andrew had a deep passion for food, both as a skilled and enthusiastic cook and as an adventurous eater who delighted in discovering new cuisines. He also had a lifelong love of soccer, a sport he played from childhood well into adulthood, cherishing the camaraderie and competition it brought.
Above all, Andrew loved his children. Despite facing a difficult battle with alcoholism that impacted his relationships with family and friends, he is remembered for the joyful memories he created and the love he had for those closest to him.
Andrew is survived by his beloved children, Shawn, Ethan, and Audrey; his mother, Emily; his father, Bruce, and stepmother, Krysti; his brothers, Matthew and Michael, and his niece Evelynn; and his stepsiblings, Zack, Londyn, and Jakob. He will also be fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A private memorial service for family will be held on November 16, 2024. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Andrew’s memory through a simple act of kindness for someone in need.
