Barbara Jean Gladden, 84, was called home to Jesus on September 5th, 2024 while residing in Snowflake, AZ. Barbara was born February 6th, 1940 in Daisy, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by parents Arnold & Mildred Brown, her husband Daniel Gladden and her brother Kenneth Brown. Barbara is survived by her sister Mary Moody, sons Louis Picciurro, Dennis (Gail) Picciurro, Mark (Val) Gladden, daughters Debra (Doug) Brandfas, Cindy Garcia, 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Many of her years were spent working as a cook for The State of Arizona throughout several school districts and state prisons. If Barbara wasn’t working, she and her husband Daniel (Danny) of 29 years, enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Some souls are to beautiful for this world,and so they leave. I will miss the phone calls and the supportive talks grandma. Always was I greatful for everything you've been to me. Wish we had more time together. But you are beside pop's now. I love you grandma.
