Charles Edward Davis passed away on 6/24/20 at home after a battle with Parkinson’s and Lewy Body Dementia. He is survived by his wife, Nancy, daughters Rhonda Campbell and Tara Prudhomme (Mike), granddaughters Samantha LaSacco, Sabrina Denney, Marlee Prudhomme, grandson, Cyrus Prudhomme and sister-in-law, Joan Harris. He was an only child and his parents passed away many years ago
Charlie loved playing golf and played on a pool league. He was a loyal Dodger fan and loved listening to the blues. One of his hobbies was woodworking and he made wonderful pens and bottle stoppers. He was also a ham radio operator for over 60 years. He loved animals and had several pets throughout the years. He had a great sense of humor and often could be heard muttering humorous gems under his breath. We will all miss his smile, his gentle soul and kind heart.
Charlie, as his friends called him, was born in Huntington, West Virginia and grew up in Tucson. He spent over 30 years as a salesman for shoe companies including Harley Davidson and traveled in Arizona, California, New Mexico, and Texas. He retired in 2000 and after living in Southern California for almost 40 years, he and Nancy moved back to Tucson.
Services will be held at a later date due to Covid-19. Donations may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
