David is survived by his wife, Mary Sams; daughters, Brandi Kepple wife of John Kepple and Carolyn Aberts wife of Nickolaus Aberts; grandchildren, Jullian Aberts, Lila Aberts, and Alice Kepple; father, Herbert E. Sams; brothers, Herbert M. Sams, Patrick L. Sams, John M Sams, and Jeff J. Sams. and many nieces and nephews.
