Edward J. Collette
September 11, 1945 – August 27, 2022
Edward J Collette, born September 11, 1945 in East Syracuse, New York.   He passed away peacefully in his home on August 27, 2022. He was greeted at heaven’s gates by his wife, Marjorie Collette; and his daughter, Buffy Collette Manago; brothers, Desmond Collette, Roger Collette, Ken Johnson, Donald Johnson, Billy Johnson; and sister, Florence Johnson. He is survived by brothers, Louie Johnson, Reggie Collette, and Dennis Johnson; and sisters, Rose Johnson, Bonnie Johnson Sitnik, Terry Hayes, and Shirley Brock.
Left to carry on his traditions are his children, Kristy Collette, Randy and Roberta Salcido, Deneen and Noel Rocha, Elizabeth Craig, Jackie, Ramon Talamantes, and Ray and Melissa Rocha.
His legacy will continue through his 20 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Ed’s lifetime career was served as an accomplished environmentalist for over 30 years. Ed spent some of his favorite chapters in life teaching environmental and hazmat courses at Pima Community College in Arizona.
He had a passion for education and wanted to share the knowledge he possessed in his career and life. Along side of his successful career, he was the most loyal and self-sacrificing, dedicated husband to his wife Marjorie, who suffered a debilitating life stroke in 2002. He never wavered in his commitment to taking care of her in sickness and health.
A  memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on September 11, 2022 at the Marana Mortuary
Chapel, 12146 W Barnett Rd.

Ed you will be missed as much as my mother is. I remember when you first starting dating my mom she was giggly and smiling from ear to ear. I said to myself you must be something special to make my mom act like a young school girl in love..I was right you are something special .Special people only go where there's a special place for them .im sure God had my mom waiting at the gate for you..R.I.P papa Ed from Elizabeth
