Edward Francis Schafle, 82, of Tucson, AZ passed away January 7, 2023. Ed is preceded in death by his parents, 6 sisters and a son, Michael D. Schafle.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sharon Schafle; children: Edward M. Schafle, Susan M. Schafle, Linda (Brian) Lawson and J.P. (Liz) Wright, J.C. (Melanie) Wright and Adam Chandler; grandchildren: Amanda, Savannah, Cassandra, Jonathon, Jordyn, Savannah, Veronica, Adam, Nadia and Brooks; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 nephews and 2 nieces.

We will always remember your smile, your laugh and your sense of optimism! Whenever we saw you there was always a “Hey how ya’ doing?” which always brought a smile to our face and yours as well. God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not to be. So he wrapped his arms around you, And whispered, “Come to me.” You didn’t deserve what you went through, So he gave you a rest. God’s garden must be beautiful, For he only takes the best. And when I saw you sleeping, So peaceful and free from pain, I could not wish you back, To suffer that again.
