Felix S. Lopez, age 90, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2025. He was born on May 8, 1934, in La Casita, Texas, to the late Graciano and Ana Lopez.
Felix moved to Marana, Arizona with his devoted wife, Norma, where they spent 67 loving years together. They built a quiet life rooted in faith, friendship, community, and family. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Felix will be remembered for his warm smile, generosity, deep faith, his whistling, and the love he shared with everyone around him. He cherished time with his family and friends, especially outdoors—whether hunting, fishing, or simply enjoying nature. A fan of classic westerns, Felix never tired of his favorite black-and-white cowboy movies.
Though a simple obituary cannot capture the fullness of his life, it offers a tribute to a man who was greatly loved and leaves behind a legacy of kindness, connection, joy, and family.
A Funeral service will be held at St. Christopher’s Catholic Church in Marana, Arizona, on April 24, 2025. The rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery, Tucson, AZ.
Felix is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Norma; his children, Felix Lopez Jr. (Gloria), Anna Leal (John), Graciano Lopez (Dawson), and Maribel Lopez-Wright (Phil), Rosa Munoz (Carlos); and his grandchildren: Elizabeth (Matt), John (Amanda), Reid, Christine (Jesse), Susan, Beverly, Kayla, Cody (Cameron), and Gabriela. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren: Ryan, Emma, Caroline, Frank, Charlotte, Savannah, and Cole.
His family, friends will miss him dearly.
