James Grant Boren or better know as Jim passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 13, 2025 in Tucson, AZ. Jim was born to Marion Junior (deceased) and Maxine Boren on October 15, 1962 in Phoenix, AZ. Jim is 1 of 6, he had 4 sisters and 1 brother. Jim was survived by his wife Judy, daughters Jenna Johnson (Paul), Jalene Boren and son Jason Boren (Katie). Jim was a proud grandpa to 4 granddaughters and 4 grandsons. Jim served a mission in New York City, New York mission, for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Jim and Judy were sealed in the Mesa temple on August 25, 1984 and just celebrated 40 years of marriage in August 2024. Jim loved serving in the church and over the years he spent a lot of time with the young men sharing his love for the outdoors. Jim worked in construction most of his life. Jim was a very talented and creative man. He was a self taught jack of many trades and master of all. He loved doing anything outdoors, hunting, fishing, site seeing, sitting around and telling stories and making memories. He will be truly missed by all.
