Jay R. Fuller, 89 years old
On March 10, 2018 at 6:15 a.m., Jay “Stuntman Extraordinaire” rode out to meet up with his dad and the rest of the gang. Born in Glendale, California, his acting and stunt work started at age seven. Jay’s dad, “Clem” was a stuntman in the early days of westerns and passed his love of the action down to his son. Jay was a Korean Air Force Veteran, stuntman, ViaCom Transportation V.P. and Captain, USAC racecar driver, horse trainer, marksman and craftsman. Predeceased by parents, Clem and Vivian Fuller. Jay leaves behind his wife, Jackie, son Rick, daughter Sherry (Jerry), grandsons Kyle and Jerry “Sharky”, granddaughter Britinie (Brandon), and granddaughters Madison and Aleksa, along with two great-grandsons, all of whom will miss him terribly. Above all, Jay loved spending time with his family in the outdoors camping, fishing and telling stories. His message to all family and friends, “So long…Meet you at the pass”.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 26, 2018 at the Marana Mortuary Cemetery,
12146 W. Barnett Road, Marana, AZ 85653 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
