Obituary

Jody Catherine Burdick, born November 11, 1951, peacefully passed left us April 29,2022 with her husband by her side. Jody was born in Ohio, but made her way to California where she raised her family and then retired in Arizona with her husband and dog, Kirby.

She is survived by her loving husband John Burdick. Her Brothers Dick and Bob, Her sister Pat. Her kids Erik, Heather Hailee, Julianne, and Shayna. Her grandkids Brecken, Braylynn, and Quincey.

Jody and John loved to travel, exploring many places together and creating many memories to last a lifetime. She enjoyed golfing in the sunshine, gardening where she passed her thumb down to her beautiful daughter and granddaughter.  Jody took any chance to get the family together for a family dinner and board games. Her family always looked forward to her famous Chicken Paprikash and her amazing baking. Right after she retired she became a volunteer with the California Highway Patrol which became a pretty big passion for her. She always took a liking to playing pickleball with her friends.

In lieu of flowers we ask donation to any Women’s & Childrens shelter of your choice.  Memorial Mass will be Held at Santa Catlina Catholic Church , Thursday May 26, 2022 at 11:00 am.

Such a beauty. JoAn ,as I knew her and I went to high school together. I’m happy to know she had a big loving family. May all the beautiful memories you shared with your mom, wife, and sister comfort you all.
