Jose Alfredo Arce went to join our heavenly father on October 13, 2021 at the age of 76. Known by family and friends as Fred or Freddie. Unless he was in trouble by his mother, then it was Jose Alfredo.
Born on October 11, 1945 in El Paso, TX. Freddie grew up in the historic neighborhood known as El Segundo Barrio. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1967 and then the U.S Marine Corp in 1971. He was discharged from the military in 1973. He then went on to work at the El Paso International Airport and later for the local bus transit company Sun Metro. After being approved for full Veterans Disability benefits, he spent his time enjoying life and his remaining years in Tucson with his sister Lou.
He is preceded by his parents Maria and Alfredo Arce. He is survived by his children Ruth, Paul & Adam, their mother Esther and his grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Maggie, Lou, Isela, Carmen, John and Raul. He was loved dearly by his family. To many of his nieces and nephews he was the uncle who loved to tell wild tales, jokes and liked to party.

My name is Paul Arce II. I am the son of Paul Arce and Jose Alfredo Arce's grandson. I never got to meet Jose, talk or have a conversation with him. For that I am sad and my deepest condolences on his loss. It is my hope that the Lord comforts the Arce family and draws close to y'all. And reminds you of the love of Christ. I hope to meet y'all one day. Love, Paul Arce II
