JoMary (Pirrello) Dahl Obituary January 27, 2023
JoMary (Pirrello) Dahl passed away of cancer in Tucson Arizona on January 24, 2023 with her devoted
sister Felicia and beloved stepson Justin Dahl at her bedside.
JoMary was born March 19th (St. Joseph Day) 1954 to Sam (Slue) and Mary Pirrello in Rockford, Illinois.
She was a graduate of Boylan Catholic High School and Patricia Stevens Career Academy of Milwaukee
Wisconsin. The Academy gave her a sense of style, poise, and confidence that she carried throughout
her adult life. JoMary had a smile that lit up the room and an infectious personality that gave her the
ability to make instant friends wherever she went. She lived and worked in Milwaukee & Green Bay,
Wisconsin; Montpelier, Ohio; Denver, Colorado; and finally Tucson, Arizona. She worked in sales and
telemarketing for several companies beginning with Forest City Packers (owned by her father), Provimi
Veal of Green bay, and ACH Foam of Denver. JoMary’s greatest love was being a wife and homemaker.
Her home decorating talents were evident to anyone who visited her home. She was a skilled cook and
baker whose delicious creations were enjoyed by all. Wherever she lived she had a cat that had the run
of the house.
JoMary was predeceased by her parents, brother Tony, and husband Douglas Dahl who was the love of
her life and soul mate. She is survived by stepson Justin (Aliona) Dahl and granddaughter Cheyenne.
Siblings Sam (Linda), Felicia, Billy, Patty, and numerous neices, nephews, cousins, and friends. A
celebration of life will be held in Denver at a date to be determined. Arrangements have been made by
Marana Mortuary of Marana, Arizona.

Dear Sam, Linda, Felicia, Patty & Bill and extended family, JoMary and I may have lived miles apart and had lost touch over the years, but she was still a special friend who was close to my heart. She is included in a lot of my memories of places I lived, worked and traveled. I don’t remember exactly how we first met, but there was an instant bond between us that I felt has always existed. My sympathies and prayers for all of you. Peace, Linda (Stern) Houghton
