Joshua T. Chambers (CW2), age 34, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 6, 2017, at the VA Hospital in Tucson surrounded by family. He was a 2001 graduate of Cholla High School and joined the U.S. Army in 2002 to pursue a career in unmanned aircraft systems. He retired in 2016 as an Aviation Warrant Officer, after his diagnoses of Cancer. Service Medals Include: Meritorious Service Medical, Army Commendation Medal (7th Award), Army Achievement Medal (3rd Award), Afghanistan Campaign Medal and Iraq Campaign Medal, with four Campaign Stars.
Josh had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. He truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; enjoying times with friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Shay; 3 year old son Jackson, parents, Glen & Judi Arnett, sister, Jennifer (Alex), brother, Carl (Tara); niece and nephews, aunts and uncles, and many cousins.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Josh touched are invited to Marana Mortuary Cemetery 12146 W Barnett Rd., Marana for a viewing at 9:30, services at 10:30 following a burial at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery- Marana 15950 N. Luckett Rd., Marana. Celebration of Life will follow at VFW 5990 in Marana at 15850 W El Tiro Rd., Marana, AZ 85653.
We have loved him in life, let us not forget him after death.
