Mother-in-Law, Marlene Clay. Sister-in-Law, Deborah Meeker, Brother-in-law Duane (Cindy) Frost. Missed and loved by many nieces, nephews and many Family & Friends. In Kathy’s recent years she made a close Group of friends. Ana Gutierrez, Irma Torres, Amanda Gentle, Phylisha Adkins, and Marie Perez. This Group of friends became as close as sisters. Predeceased Kimberly Ryand, Sister and Edwayne Clay, Father In Law.
Kathy was the happiest when she was spending time with her sons, husband, and grandchildren. She especially held her family closest to her heart. She touched the hearts of anyone she encountered. She most importantly always loved to laugh and have a good time. There is nothing she cherished more than her family. She also loved doing all kinds of crafts, fishing, camping, and anything and everything with her fur babies. She was an avid crocheter and stocking maker. Kathy was also an extremely passionate animal lover; she had many kinds of animals. Just to name a few, she had fish, ducks, chickens, a goose, and 14 dogs at one time. Another thing that Kathy downright enjoyed was music. Some musicians and bands she loved were Sublime, Queen, Guns N’ Roses, Eminem, Jelly Roll, Garth Brooks, and Eric Clapton. Another thing about this outstandingly caring woman is that she always made sure to spoil each and every one of her grandchildren, or grandbabies she would often say, to the moon and back. If there was something Kathy hated, It was having to yell or “discipline” her grandbabies. These grandchildren will be sure to have immensely adoring memories of their beloved grandmother. Kathleen also loved watching tons of TV shows or having it on as “background noise”. Some of these shows included Friends, Cops, LAPD, Maury, and Steve Wilkos. General hospital was undeniably her favorite TV show of all time. She had been watching General Hospital ever since she was a little girl, she knew all the characters and what happened in every season.
