Lois G. Bruse, age 93, was born in Goodland, Kansas on July 06, 1925. She passed away peacefully on Friday, December 21, 2018.
Lois was an amazing lady who loved life and enjoyed every minute of it. She faced and overcame every challenge that came her way. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Lois was very involved in serving others as a registered nurse until she retired. She also was very active in service for her church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Lois is survived by her daughter, Janice (Jan) Bruse and her son William (Bill) Bruse, four granddaughters and their children. They are Rhiannon Bruse and her daughter Jesyka, Tammy Bruse Johnson and her daughters Maliyah, Madison and Miliana, Shasta Bruse Ehrhart and her husband Brandon and their son Ethan, and Heather Bruse Kittrell and her husband Stan and their daughter Kinslee. She was also very close to the children and grand and great grand children of her deceased brothers and of her deceased ex-husband Hank Bruse.
Lois loved to read mystery books and to do family history research to find her ancestors. She has traced her Gregory family line back into the 1100’s. She volunteered at the Family History Center in Tucson and Marana until she turned 92. There are many who she helped get started in finding their ancestors over all those years.
