Lorraine Jean Lowery (Betancourt) passed away at her home on the morning of August 17, 2025 after a long struggle with dementia. She graduated with an Associate’s degree from Union College in New Jersey, and was a happy, outgoing woman with an infectious laugh who very much enjoyed her career as a real estate agent until her retirement in 2017.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Jean, her father Walter, and her brother Jon.
She is survived by husband John Lowery, her son Steven Doviak and stepson Sean Lowery, her beloved dog Gidget, and her brother Michael.
