Malcolm Stuart Love, 66, peacefully passed away on October 6, 2025 surrounded by loved ones, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born October 15, 1958 in Cambridgeshire, England to Donna Sue Cole and James Kerr Love, Stuart lived a life defined by dedication, integrity, and love for both family and country. After graduating high school in 1976, he enlisted in the United States Army, where he began his military career. Stuart continued to serve his country, working with the United States Postal Service for 26 years until his retirement in 2021.
In 1991, Stuart met the love of his life Gail Blotsky at Fort Carson in Colorado Spring, Colorado. It was love at first sight, and they were married on December 23rd, 1992. Together they built a strong and loving family.
Stuart and Gail were blessed with four children- Amber, James, Kathy, and Ashley (adopted)- as well as three children from Stuart’s previous marriage: Christina, April, and Tera. He was a proud grandfather to eighteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all of whom brought immense joy and pride to his life.
In retirement, Stuart cherished peaceful days at home, watching Broncos football, relaxing, and most of all spending time with his beloved wife, children, and grandchildren. His warmth, humor, and quite strength left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Stuart’s legacy as a devoted husband, father, soldier, and friend will live on in the hearts of those he loved and those who loved him.
