Mrs. Patricia Marie Sorensen

It is with great sadness, the family of Patricia Kilgore Sorensen announce her passing on May 28, 2019 in Tucson, AZ.  Pat was born August 31, 1948 in Des Moines, IA to Glen and Dorothy (Pugh) Kilgore. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her older brothers Glen Kilgore Jr and Charles W Kilgore.

Most of Pat’s younger life was spent in the Des Moines Area and later in New Virginia, IA, where she was a member of the Medora Methodist Church.  She graduated from Interstate 35 High School.  Pat married Dale Sorensen in 1975 in Des Moines, IA, and moved to Tucson, AZ in 1978.  She was a successful business owner in northwest Tucson for many years.  Pat is survived by her husband, Dale and two daughters, Kirsten (Eric) Benjamin of Tucson, AZ and Katherine (Donny) Mortier of Mesa, AZ, as well as grandsons Teddy and Sam Benjamin and Weston and Wyatt Mortier.  She is also survived by her brother John Kilgore of Saint Charles, IA, sister Barbara (Bob) Yamaguchi of Las Vegas, NV, sister-in-law Beth Kilgore of Lucas, IA, and many nieces and nephews.

At Pat’s request, a small private memorial service will be held.
