Obituary

Noemi Adams has joined her devoted husband on October 28, 2017. She is now in heaven and able to be without dementia that took her from us.

Noemi grew up in Ponce, Puerto Rico born on August 8, 1939. She had three wonderful sisters for support and her loving parents Gloria and Enrique Tellez. She met her husband John Adams while he served in the Army stationed near Ponce as she was finishing up nursing school. When they met, it was love at first sight as neither one of them was without the other from that day forward. They were together 54 years.

Noemi loved to work with her hands and help those around her. She demonstrated those qualities to the fullest by becoming a nurse. She worked with care and dedication to her craft retiring from the VA Hospital in Tucson. She devoted her caring and time to all of us blessed to have her in our lives. Her husband, was always, the center of her world.

She is survived in Puerto Rico by her sisters and friends. Here, by her daughters Susan, Joyce, daughter in law Julie, her granddaughters Jessie, Kaitlan, Samantha and her dear friends. Unfortunately, her husband John had departed on June 27, 2017. She touched all those who knew her and will be missed by everyone as well. She lives on in us through our memories and thoughts.

A service of Memorial and Interment will be held Thursday, November 2 at 10:30 am at the Marana Mortuary & Cemetery in Marana, AZ.
