Rick was a great friend of mine during our school years at Pueblo High school. We did a lot of things together and were great buddies during this period of time in the early 1960's. We both played on the 1961 Pueblo High school state championship football team. We remained good friends for a few years after High School but didn't see much of each other after I graduated from the UofA in 1968 and left Tucson for employment purposes and Rick joined the Navy. We did connect several times at High School reunions through the years. I greatly admired Rick for his distinguished military service and all he did and went through during his time in Vietnam. I wish his entire family my sincere condolences. David Stewart Albuquerque, NM
