Sean passed away peacefully after a basic shutdown of all his major organs.
Sean will be remembered as a kind, light-hearted soul. As a tiny child, his spiritual teacher Sri Sathya Sai Baba, lovingly held him on his lap and continued throughout Sean’s life to embed high spiritual teachings along with the sometimes-forgotten concept that, “Life is a game- Play it, don’t take yourself too seriously. You are part and parcel of all that is.”
Sean always left you with a smile on your face and an intangible lightness.
His last words and fervent request were; “I want to go home; to India.”
He is survived by his mother, Ms. Eltrue Sorenson and his two sisters; Tressie Berry and Lisa Berry.

Dear Eltrue, Tressie and Lisa: Sean is a lovely Soul. It was meaningful and uplifting to interact with him, over that more than forty-year span that I knew him. Though she never met Sean, Victoria joins me in extending heartfelt condolences. I have described to her Sean’s kind nature and endearing smile. I have also told her about the happy “Mississippi Connection” we all have, and how that played-out in moving me forward in my spiritual journey. May the blessed Lord continue to guide and guard us all—as we remember always the Light that Sean has brought us. William and Victoria Harvey
