Obituary for Thomas E. Wagner
Thomas E. Wagner passed away suddenly, at his home on December 2, 2020, with his wife at his side. He was the beloved husband, soul mate and best friend of 50 years to his wife, Teresa Turner.
He was a current resident of Marana Arizona. He formerly lived in Columbus Ohio, and North Potomac Maryland, before retiring and moving to the Tucson AZ area in 2001.
He is the cherished brother of Timothy Wagner, Kathleen (Wagner) Balbaugh, and Joani Wagner Moore. He is predeceased by his parents the late Milton and Ruth (Pearce) Wagner, and two other sisters, Patricia Wagner and Julie Wagner Rucker. He was a dear uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
He attended Holy Spirit Elementary School, in Columbus Ohio, then went to Bishop Hartley High School, and Ohio Dominican College, both also in Columbus. He also studied at the Pontifical North American College in the Vatican, [Rome] Italy. He received his Master’s degree from The Catholic University in Washinton D.C. in 1975.
He pursued a career as a Telecommunications Manager for a number of years before retiring and moving to Arizona. His hobbies were swimming, playing cards, and a host of other fun activities.
Not only because he was a wonderful soul, but also because of his cheerful, playful, loving spirit, he will be sadly missed by his entire family and his many friends.

Hi Teresa, Trying to post again. So sorry for your loss and all it means, especially at holiday time. I'm glad we reconnected a few years ago, but sorry its still long distance. I'm still praying for you and am available anytime for whatever I can do from afar. I'm sure Tom is praying for you to have strength. Love, Sharon

My heart aches for you Teresa, knowing how you and Tom were so close and special. I could tell when talking to Tom that he adored you, and talking to you that you adored him. My wish for you is for you to glow in the sweet memories you made together. You are a light in the lives of many. And now your light will light Toms path as he goes on his journey. You are my dear friend, and please know I'm here for you whenever you may need me. I love you like a sister.
