In Loving Memory of Thomas Ritzco
June 17, 1947 – June 1, 2025
Thomas Ritzco, a proud Vietnam War veteran, devoted husband, and cherished family man, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2025, at the age of 77.
Thomas answered the call of duty and served his country with honor and courage during the Vietnam War. Upon returning home, he dedicated his life to building a foundation of love, strength, and support for his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary; his children Mary, Brenda, Roy, and Tammy; eleven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was a steady presence, a source of wisdom, and a man who never hesitated to show his love.
Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, Ann and John; his sister, Barbara; his brother, John; his daughter, Barbara; and his nieces, Robin and Linda. Their memories remained close to his heart, and he spoke of them often with great love and longing.
A viewing will be held on June 9th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a 21-round salute in honor of his military service.
A memorial Mass with full military honors will take place on June 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 8650 N. Shannon Rd., Tucson, AZ 85742.
Thomas will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his deep sense of duty, and the love he shared so freely with those around him. He leaves behind a legacy of strength, compassion, and service that will live on in all who knew and loved him.

Mary: I’m so sorry to learn of Tom’s passing. He was a good guy and will be missed by those of us who knew him.
Mary and family so very sorry for your loss. Tom was a good guy and I enjoyed working with him in the packaging lab. We swapped a lot of stories (while we were working). We will keep you all in our prayers.
