Unfailingly kind, generous and so very, very gifted. I am honored to have many custom screens and fences he made for me at my home. They are gloriously creative and full of life and his love of nature. I just learned about his death and my heart goes out to his family and all those who were close to him. So sorry for your loss.

So sad to learn of Dante's passing. My husband and I met him at the Renaissance Faire in Minnesota many years ago. We fell in love with his work and have many of his rusted metal sculptures in our yard and gave many as gifts. We will cherish them even more now. In conversation with Dante, I discovered he was also from the Iron Range of MN, he from Hibbing and I from Chisholm. He was a lovely person and a incredible artist. He will be missed.

Dante was one of the most honest and sincere people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing He was a great man and he will be truly missed. R.I.P. My friend . I know that I have another Angel looking over me . Godspeed my friend! Until we meet again

Dante was kind, gentle, humble, and of course, creative. He was loved by many and will be missed. But he lives on through all the artwork he created, which will continue to bring us joy. Rest in peace, Dante, and wishing his family and friends peace at this difficult time.

Dante and I were GOOD friends in Madison during the 1980s. He and I had many GOOD adventures with lots of laughs and important personal talks. I was with him when we went to Chucky Cheese in Madison for his nephew's birthday. I think Garry's son? He traveled with me to Richland Center, where I am from, to stay a weekend at my parents get-away in Gillingham. We went to a nice place on Hwy 14 W. just out of RC to play pool and visit with the patrons. He always let me win at pool! He was always, ALWAYS, understanding, intelligent, intellectual, friendly and GOOD. As Carole King sang: "Now ain't it GOOD to know that you've got a friend".. Dante was always GOOD. That's a basic trait of character. You can't fake GOOD. Dante never faked anything to me. He was always a GOOD guy and still is.

I'm so sorry to "lose" Dante -- and even sorrier that no one bothered to let others know about the memorial service. I would have like to attend. Diane Taylor, Tucson

My condolescences to Dante's family. Dante really was the kindest person I ever met. He helped many, and did so humbly.
