Karen Rosemarie Gentry, 61, passed away peacefully on February 10th. She is survived by her mother Rosemarie; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; her daughter Gretchen & granddaughter Gia; her son Ryan & grandson Greyson; and her partner of 12 years, William G. Hogan. She was a beautiful person. Her presence will be missed immensely.
I remember remember you befriending me back in Belle Mead NJ in 1975 and we remained pretty good friends for a couple of years. We had a lot of fun at your home in Rumson Nj and going to the beach and pizza places. I left for the Navy and we somehow drifted apart but I thought of you often and how kind you were to me. I was shocked to hear of your passing. Heaven just got another Angel. Maybe I'll see you again one day on the other side.
Karen came to Belle Mead, NJ when we were in high school. She was fun, and from California so had that vibe. She became a good friend. Karen often ate dinner with our family, We graduated and I went to AZ to college. Karen's family moved there as well. She attended my wedding, as we were both Arizona residents at the time and remained in touch at that time. Sadly I was unable to successfully contact her in later years, however knew she was happily living her life in the Tucson area. My condolences to her family, partner and her adult children/grandchildren. Karen had a wonderful laugh, and I have pleasant memories of our adventures. - Joanne Ivins
