Robert Ashley Hildebrand III

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Robert (Robbie) Ashley Hildebrand, III. Robbie passed suddenly at Rio Rico, Arizona, on February 15, 2023.

Though Robbie was only 26 years old, he experienced and enjoyed life. He was a capable Journeyman Carpenter, and his passion was building bridges. He was a skilled and intelligent craftsman and was meticulous in his work. He had worked with his dad for Morrissey Construction in Tucson. He was also in various positions with Southwest Carpenter’s Union. He had recently spent time in Santa Paula, California, with his loving mom.

Robbie grew up in Grass Valley, California, and moved to Arizona in 2016, with long time partner, Montana Marchi, until 2021.

Robbie was a gifted athlete and played all-star baseball at Bear River LL. He loved riding motorcycles at home in Grass Valley. He spent many summers on nearby lakes boating and fishing with family and friends.

Robbie enjoyed riding motorcycles and other off-road vehicles, going for long desert rides on his Razr and Rhino.

Robbie was preceded in death by his father, Robert Ashely Hildebrand, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Hildebrand, aunts, Gayle (Jeff), Shannon (Asa) uncle, Michael, grandparents, Nancy and Richard Mitchell, and cousins, Chance, Kierra, Kylan and Matthew. Robbie will also be missed by his other family and friends, Jessica Esparza, siblings, Emerald and Jayden, and Bailey Leith and family.

A celebration of life will be held in Santa Paula, CA, at a later date to be announced.
