Born on September 14, 1957, in Chicago, Illinois, Jean was the cherished daughter of Regina and Casey Kurcz. She spent her career dedicated to helping others in the healthcare field before retiring and embracing the quiet joys of life in Arizona.
Jean had a creative spirit and a loving heart. She enjoyed making jewelry, getting lost in a good book, playing Yahtzee with her sisters and, most of all, spending time with her grandchildren — Anthony, Mila, Wyatt, Kane, and TJ — who brought her endless pride and joy.
She is survived by her loving children, Melissa (Travis) Pilchard and Chris (Kayla) Barsotti; her cherished grandchildren; and her siblings, Stanley (Linda) Kurcz, Lottie Kurcz, and Elaine Marchello. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Regina and Casey Kurcz, and her brother-in-law, John Marchello.
