Rose Marie "Pree" Spears

Rose Marie Spears (Pree), 69, passed away on June 30th, 2025 in Tucson, Arizona. She was born on April 13th, 1956 in Queens, New York at St. Albans Naval Hospital to Edwin and Maryalice Kones.

Pree graduated with honors from Waterville-Elysian High School of Waterville, Minnesota in 1974. She went on to graduate from Judson College of Marion, Alabama in 1977 with a B.S. in business and commerce and later worked as a senior office manager and bookkeeper for multiple medical institutes and CPAs.

A lover of animals and crafting, she enjoyed taking care of her two dogs Bleu and Pogo and spending time with different wildlife while creating artisan purses and other crafts.

She is survived by: her son, Christopher Nicholas Spears, her two sisters, Sharon Deanne Wolner and Ramona Katherine Kones, and her niece and nephew, Christine Allyn Wolner and Kyle Andrew Wolner. She is preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, Charles Dewayne Spears.
