Kyira and Family, I offer my most sincere condolences for the loss of Angela "Yogi" Stokes. She was always a shining star from the Howard University years through some of the New Jersey years when Kyira was a youngster. Now it's August 1, 2020, and I just discovered Angela's passing. I will always remember her as a positive spirit and grateful to have known her. May she rest in peace.
Was shocked and saddened to hear of Yogi’s passing. She was a beautiful soul and although I didn’t know her well she was always a classy, sharp sister when we crossed paths. My sincere condolences to the family. Her Howard family is broken-hearted. Sincerely, Sullivan Johnson III
Very sad to learn of Yogi's passing over the recent Howard University homecoming. Condolences to the family. She is a beautiful spirit that has a beautiful soul. God rest her in peace. Your Howard University family loves you! Sincerely, Michelle R. Wright

Angie I will miss our phone calls and your laughter. It's crazy how we could both talk forever. Thank you for showing my granddaughters how to apply makeup and made us all feel good during a hard time for all of us when my dad your uncle passed. You were always so happy and vibrant! You loved life. I love the time I went to Howard University to pick you up that summer. You showed me off to your friends. Wow I will truly miss our calls. You always made me laugh. You could tell a story...definitely related to your uncle Jessie. He loved you so much. He never called me Andrea, he always called me Angie. I wonder if he knew my name was Andrea...lol. I love you so much cuz.
