Cecilia Cervantez Lozano
December 31st, 1946 – November 10th, 2021
Tucson, Arizona
Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, Tia, Nina, and Friend. Cecilia worked for the City of Tucson for 30 years and Pima County Elections for 20 years. She was always a hard worker, willing to get the job done. No task was too difficult.
Cecilia battled with cancer these past 11 years and fought hard. She kept a smile on her face and was always in good spirits.
Cecilia enjoyed being outdoors, hiking, camping, fishing with her grandkids, learning, reading, puzzles, dancing, a great adventure, and of course… PLAYING POKER with the family.
Out of everything in her life she would want to glorify her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She will be missed.

Love you Mama! Miss you already! Thankyou for being such a great mother! #TEAMJESUS
You weren't only my Prima for 74 years, you were my sister, partner in having fun growing up together. We were always there for each other when we needed a hug or laughter. We always turned a sad moment into laughter. You'd call me to give me an update, you would say, "just don't start crying". See, "you are crying and I haven't even told you". I will always remember when I went to visit you at the home care facility, we hugged each other and you said, "we had 74 wonderful years together", I love you. I was there until your last days holding your hand, and still crying. You were strong and till the end I never saw you cry. Missing you and loving you forever! Always in my heart! Tu Prima Connie Ron will miss you joking with each other.
I knew Cecilia for many years, and she will always hold a special place in my heart. My deepest condolences for all of her immediate and extended family. She will truly be missed, but never forgotten. Lois Shoaf
Cecilia was one of the truest examples of a child of God that I have known, and I learned much about how to walk closer to the Lord from her. No matter what, she trusted her Savior Jesus and always gave Him the glory. She had an unshakable faith, and thanked Him continually in every circumstance. I know that she is delighted to be in His presence! I will look for her as soon as I get there, too!! Sara and Bill Balentine
Cecilia was a beautiful person, inside and out. I will miss so many things about her. Her sense of humor, sharp wit and her constant kindness just to name a few. Cecilia believed, above all else, that as soon as she took her last breath here in this world that she would instantly look upon the face of Jesus Himself and enter into eternity with Him. So go with God my friend. See you soon.
In the short time that I knew Cecila, it was obvious that she was a very special person. To me, she was inspirational. She cared for others in a loving, kind way that was genuine. Remembering her, I see her sparkling eyes and her sweet smile. I know that I have lost the opportunity to learn from her wisdom and deep love of Jesus, but I also know that I was blessed to call her a friend.
Cecilia, Your golden heart stopped beating and you were taken away and we miss you everyday. I was very blessed to have such a beautiful friend and coworker that never complained that she was in pain always smiling. Remembered keep watching over us and pray for us each day.
