Donna Jolene Smith passed away on January 10th, 2025, at the age of 62, after a courageous four year battle with cancer. She was home, surrounded by family who loved her dearly.
Born Donna Jolene Wirth in Rhinelander, Wisconsin the youngest of four siblings. She moved to Tucson, Arizona during high school with her parents.
Donna married her husband Lawrence Smith of 34 years in December 1990. She raised two amazing daughters with two wonderful sons-in-law, and was blessed with four energetic grandchildren.
She worked for the Circle K Corporation for over 35 years as an Inventory Auditor. She attended Pima Community College for her love of learning new things. She loves to take cruises and travel anywhere with clear blue water. She was energetic, loving, understanding and had her faith in God.
She was preceded in death by her father Jerome, mother Dyann, and two brothers William and Keith Wirth.
She is survived by her sister Cindy (Nick) Vugrinec, husband Lawrence, daughters Ashleigh (Jesse) Trafford, Rachael (Brandon) Harvey and grandchildren Elizabeth, Hunter, Nikol and Raiden, as well as extended family and many friends. She was a long time member of Casas Adobes Church in Marana before becoming a member of the Oro Valley Church of the Nazarene. She is sorely missed.
Her celebration of life will be held at the Oro Valley Church of the Nazarene, Oro Valley, AZ. At 10:00 am on January 31, 2025. Friends and loved ones of Donna are invited to attend.
