Edward Gosse Johnson, loving father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away peacefully at 93 on October 19, 2023. Ed was born on April 27, 1930, in Brooklyn, New York, to Anne Isabelle Gosse and Joseph George Johnson.

He left a legacy marked by gratitude, humor and a love for St. Louis Cardinal baseball. Ed was admired for his goodness and integrity. His genuine kindness touched the lives of those around him. The love for his children was evident in the countless stories shared, laughter and unconditional support offered throughout their lives. He had such pride in a family tied by love and appreciation for each other. Ed was a man of humility and grace.

He had a diverse career contributing to distinguished companies, ITT, RCA and General Electric. Later as an entrepreneur he ventured into the trophy business. His skills, dedication and commitment to excellence contributed to their success.

Ed is survived by his four children, Erik (Stephanie), Karl (Michele), Karen Derkach (Mark), Kris Evans (Bryce), five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He’s preceded in death by Mary Ellen Johnson, wife and mother of his children and later by his second wife, Betty Johnson
