Today we celebrate the life, love and legacy of Frank Lee, Jr with the following scriptures in mind:
“To everything there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven: A time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to pluck up what is planted, A time to kill and a time to heal, a time to break down and a time to build up, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance” (Eccl 3: 1-9)
“A good name is better than precious perfume, and the day of death is better than the day of one’s birth.
It is better to go to the house of mourning than to go to the house of feasting, for that is the end of all men; and the living will lay it to heart.
Sorrow is better than laughter, for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better and gains gladness.” (Eccl 7: 1-3)
“… Then shall the dust [out of which God made the body] return to the earth as it was, and the spirit shall return to God Who gave it.” (Eccl 12: 6-7)
“… And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that I should not lose any of all that He has given Me, but that I should give new life and raise [them all] up at the last day.
For it is My Father’s will and His purpose, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in and cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up [from the dead] at the last day.” (John 6: 33-40)
