Matt, you were one of my first friends in the Air Force. You wwere always fun to be with. I am so grateful that we were able to reconnect on social media and had a chance to visit you and Shella in Tucson to catch up and share stories and laughs. What a blessing to know you for 36 years. I am sad that you are gone, but am glad that you are with our Lord. And although you are missed here, we will all be reunited one day.

Matt was a great friend and a lifetimes worth of fun. That wry sense of humor, yet would always laugh at the stupid crap I would say. Loved playing golf and softball with him, especially loved the team we had in the weapons vault back in the USAF. Matt is one of the truly great friends I have in my life, I feel blessed to have known him, and I know he is asking me from heaven right now “ do I ever listen?” I miss him like the flower misses the sun
