Nancy Carol Fredrick

Nancy Carol Fredrick (Loduha), 72, saddled up and rode off into the sunset the evening of November 17th, 2023. She was welcomed to her family November 26th, 1950 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her early life was spent in the Milwaukee and Rhinelander areas; many fond memories were made growing up here and brought a smile to her face when she would recall them in detail. After coming to southern Arizona in the 1970s, though, she found a second home that she loved like no other. No matter where she found herself, Nancy was surrounded by family, friends, and her many animals. She embraced many careers and applied her strong work ethic to make her community one to be proud of. In retirement, she found strength and motivation to live a life that allowed her to enjoy warm spring evenings, the smells of the desert monsoon rainstorms, and the beauty of the Sonoran Desert in full bloom. With her dogs by her side, cats exploring the hay barn, and horses galloping around her property, she would proclaim ‘Life is good!’

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Loduha Sr. and Margaret (Baars) Loduha, husband Gerald Fredrick, and brothers Richard, Gary, and James Loduha, and her many dogs, cats, and horses. She is survived by brothers Andrew (Lisa) Loduha Jr., Thomas (Terri) Loduha, daughters Nicole (Kevin) Worzella, Heather (Ken) Cobb, son Matthew (Rachina) Fredrick, granddaughters Stephanie Church, Autumn Cobb, Shelbylynne Cobb, grandson Chance Cobb, great-grandson Vincent Cavaciutti, and many lifelong friends that were brothers and sisters to her.

A Celebration of Life in the spring of 2024 will follow. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local animal shelter, rescue, or group. Helping an animal in need continues Nancy’s legacy of love for all animals.
