Richard Masherella

Richard Alphonse Masherella, Jr., age 86 passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, He was born July 6, 1931, in Paterson, New Jersey to Richard Dominic and Theresa Marie Masherella.

Richard met the love of his life Alice Wilke, and they were married October 12, 1952. They had a wonderful 65 years of marriage filled with dedication and love. They raised 3 children; Richard Allan, Brian Edward and Karen Lynn. They had 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Richard served in the US Navy and had an honorable discharge on December 19, 1954. After the Navy he worked in a tool and dye company until 1979. He moved his family to Arizona for a better life, and reinvented himself. Working in factoring and financial business. He was a man of great determination, and always had a goal or project. He was very loyal and devoted to his family.

The funeral service will be at Marana Mortuary, 12146 W. Barnett Rd., Marana, AZ followed by a burial at the Veterans Memorial in Marana,  15950 N. Luckett Rd.,   Marana, AZ.

Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project Foundation in his name.
